Working Out The Kinks

I’m still working out additional topics to blog about, but I think I should have a day where I write about whatever happens to be on my mind at the time. Today just happens to be that day. 
I started my new job on Monday…kinda, sorta. I have to go through the whole background check, fingerprinting, pee test, psych test thing, which I completely on Monday. So, I essentially get to sit around until everything’s checked out before I can get my badge. I’m having a hard time getting used to dragging myself out of bed before the crack of dawn again, though. I’ll tell you what, the best part about being unemployed was letting my body wake me up when it was ready.
I know this is a necessary evil - I do have bills to pay and plans to fulfill, both of which require money - I’m just trying to keep that in mind.
But…I am getting paid for sitting around for hours on end reading whatever book I happen to have on hand until I can finally do some actual work.
I suppose that has to count for something.
