9/11

By Keiti | September 11, 2007

I was originally going to write about the karma train today, but decided not to - today isn’t a day to gleefully relate the petty vindication I feel about things that don’t really matter in the larger scheme of things.  Most people remember where they were on this day 6 years ago - I was at college in Decatur, GA.  For the first time I didn’t turn the news on the minute I woke up - I remember feeling really happy that morning, initially - and was blindsided with the news by a friend of mine who had a family member who worked in one of the towers.  Thankfully, he was okay.

Today is a day to remember many things, and since I’m not very good at waxing poetic, I want to point you to The Pearl Harbor of this Generation which says everything I want to say far better than I ever could.
