It Doesn’t Take a Brain Surgeon…

Yet another day at work with too much to do in 8 hours with plenty o’ thinking time. I realized that I couldn’t have a Misfit Wall of Fame without a Misfit Hall of Shame.
So, instead of giving you the first installment of MHoF, I am compelled to put forth the first entry in the MHoS.
You know, I’m all for using one’s talents creatively and for being proud of one’s work. No problem there. But when you figure utter stupidity and an apparent lack of common sense into the mix…well, that’s when the problem starts.
Apparently MIT student Star Simpson thought it would be a good idea to walk into Boston’s Logan International Airport wearing what she later described as “just art” but looked a good deal like a bomb. Now, it’s bad enough to walk into any airport wearing something that looks like a bomb, but to walk into an airport where downed planes took off from on 9/11…well, there are no words to describe how stupid, not to mention incredibly callous and (as far as I’m concerned) disrespectful, that is.
It makes me wonder if common sense has gone the way of the dinosaurs.
