Oh, the Irony…

Would someone please explain to me why in the hell Michael Vick, busted for dogfighting, has taken an “Empathy for Animals” course from PETA, which has members who killed animals they were supposed to be finding homes for? And why is it that taking a one-day course qualifies him to do an ad “to show kids that education was the path to bettering themselves”.
Now, I’m certainly not one to dispute that education is the path to bettering oneself, but give me a break - it seems both the pot and the kettle are teaming up on this one.
