Good Times

You know, there is very little that rivals the re-appearance of someone you haven’t spoken to in years - unless you didn’t want to speak with them anyway, then it’s a nightmare - but this isn’t about nightmare. This is about being happy to hear from someone you haven’t spoken to in years.
A couple of days ago DC tracked me down on myspace. I hadn’t spoken to him, I think, since 1999 or 2000. Our paths crossed right after I moved up to Atlanta in April 1999 to get settled before I started college and our paths crossed when we found ourselves working at the same place. I didn’t get to know him as well as I would have liked - life has a way of getting in the way sometimes - but I’m happy he found me. It always amazes me when I make some sort of lasting impression. Of course, lasting impressions are fickle, and who knows what kind of impression I left. 
At any rate, I don’t know if he’s ventured his way over here, yet, but I just wanted to welcome him back to Misfit Land, otherwise known as my life.
