I’ve Been a Bad, Bad Girl

I’m playing hooky from work tonight - I wasn’t planning on it, but brilliant me decided to take Allergy meds this morning before I went to bed thinking I’d sleep off the effects and be back on my game by the time I got up and went to work. Only it didn’t work out that way.
Let me make it perfectly clear. I took Triaminic, which is a kid’s allergy med (otc) and I took the kid’s dose and I still got all freakin’ loopy. I hate the drugged-up feeling of most allergy meds and the after effect tends to make me feel worse which is why I usually don’t take anything at all and just suffer through it.
I swear, I’m the only adult I know who can get completely screwed up on kid’s allergy meds.
I’m going to go put on a movie, now, and try not to think about the crazy money I’m missing out on making by taking the night off.
