I’ve Been Inclined

Okay. I admit it. I grew up listening to Neil Diamond.

But I don’t mind. Really. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite songs in the world is “Sweet Caroline”. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know. I guess it’s just something I remember from my childhood and garners the place in my memories that it should. Not to mention, Neil Diamond is one hell of a prolific songwriter.
At any rate, I came across a news article yesterday that explains what inspired him to write it. I’ve always been fascinated with the reasons behind songs. It’s always amazing to me how one little thing can inspire something else; even though I’m a writer and have my own inspirations (mostly bad break-ups, ha ha ha) I’ve never really taken something I know virtually nothing about and written something about it.

Hmm.. thats amazing. I did not know that Ms Kennedy was the inspiration behind Sweet Caroline.
Neil Diamond has wrote and performed some wonderful songs.

I didn’t know about it until yesterday; ’twas news to me, as they say.
