Way Ahead of Myself

I have been a week ahead of myself for the past three days. I kept thinking that today was the first of December and was actually surprised to find out that it’s only the 24th. Which in a way makes me happy since the Army / Navy game isn’t until next Saturday. Hopefully, the gig will be over by the 30th and I can watch the game without having to worry about being sleep-deprived. It’s the only football game I watch with any regularity; I’m not sure why since Army always gets its ass kicked. But them’s the breaks.
I’m really not looking forward to going back into work tonight. I’ve had fun the past couple of days not having to worry about it, and look forward to the day where I don’t have to worry about whether I’ve gotten enough sleep and I’m sure as hell looking forward to not being quite as sleep-deprived. I plan on taking December off to focus on some other things, including getting ready for Christmas. I think I deserve some down time.
On that note, I’m ready to go back to sleep. I didn’t roll in until 2:00 this morning and woke up just to grab a bite to eat.
