There’s a First Time For Everything
By Keiti | January 13, 2008
This morning I did something that I haven’t ever done before: submitted my play, Bethany and the Belfry Bat for consideration at Playscripts.com. I’ve been writing off and on for years, but haven’t ever seriously worked to use my writing as a venue for income. If truth be told, I’m a bit squeamish when it comes to letting other people see my work. Mostly because I’m insecure about it, but it’s time to break free from that way of thinking, and submitting Bethany for consideration is the first step.
There is no set turn-around time - it could conceivably be a year before I hear anything back. I hope it doesn’t run that long, but now is the time to sit back, let Bethany find its place, continue to work on other projects, and do a lot of praying.
Hopefully, the million and one other things I need to concentrate on will help keep me from stressing about it.
And don’t forget to join the contest. Free stuff, people. How much cooler can it get? ![]()
