Born of Frustration, Take II

By Keiti | January 17, 2008

It’s raining today, which is kind of nice. It’s not as joy-producing as snow, but I make do with what I have. :-)
I’m just thankful it’s not hot!

Just a couple of updates this morning:

I’ve been looking for different ways to try to bring in a bit of extra income - with Scotland looming I’m sort of behind the 8-ball financially - the scholarship / grant route isn’t going as well as I like - mostly because my gpa isn’t high enough or I’m above the age limit or the funds are available only for colleges / universities in the United States. There are still a couple of options open that I’ll be applying for, and I’ll continue my search, but right now I’m pretty frustrated with the whole thing.

So one of the things I’ve been working on is using my writing as an income source. After some online research, I’ve decided to start posting some of my work on Triond as sort of an experiment. To get to the links, just click on the newly-created My Writing page. There isn’t much posted as of yet, but I’ll be spending the day working on getting more work submitted. Submitted work isn’t automatically posted - it has to be cleared by the Triond staff first - so all links will be updated as they become available.

One last note: make sure to register for the contest before it ends tomorrow morning at 10:00 am EST.
