Another Cranky Day

Sorry to be a crank-ass two days in a row - I woke up way early this morning, sat in training classes all day for a new job I started yesterday. I’ll be working in a call center where the pay is so ridiculously low I don’t want to discuss it - other than that, I’m having a good time. I should be thankful I’m working again and I am, but the whole money thing is a huge bone of contention for me when I have funds to build up for Scotland and what I’m doing now will barely pay the bills I currently have much less offer me anything to tuck away.
I do have my feelers out for something that pays a bit better, but that’s slow going, and I’ve been playing phone tag with my contact at a travel agency about my Queen Mary 2 adventure.
Searching for alternative ways to bring in money is also a constant source of frustration. I’m hoping no news is good news on Bethany and the Belfry Bat, but since it was submitted a mere week and a half ago it probably hasn’t even been read yet. I need to submit more writing to Triond, but I haven’t had time to even think about that with the new schedule.
What all this boils down to is the fact that I’m notoriously impatient. I want what I want when I want it, which in Misfit speak translates to “right now at this very minute”. Patience is something I’ve worked hard to become better at (I know, very poor grammar, indeed), and I have gotten better. Kinda. Sorta.
It also means that Pamprin is on the menu for this evening.
Hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be my usual upbeat self. Until then I’ll be spending the evening sprawled out on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket watching American crack Idol, and praying for Publisher’s Clearing House to show up on my doorstep telling me I’ve won $5000 a week for life.

uh-oh, ‘Venus in orbit’ down there? I’m feelin’ ya. You know, Premsyn works well too… helps take a little of the edge off and keeps the people around you alive just a little longer… heh

Venus may be in orbit, but it’s about to crash and burn… to say that I’m bitchy would be an understatement. Haven’t tried Premsyn, but if history’s any indication, Pamprin is the only thing that has any effect.
If that wasn’t enough, it looks as if a full moon is just about upon us.

aw hell, is it really almost full moon?! well, that explains alot of the crazy goin’ on around up here! haha
yesterday, I saw that Mecury will go into retrograde next week too… God help us all… ; ) I think I’m gonna lock myself in my room and unplug for a few weeks until it’s over.

Great. I just loooove it when Mercury hits retrograde.
*sigh*
Hopefully it won’t put too much of a stop on things.
I’m all for locking myself in my room, too. Though it’s (unfortunately) not going to happen. I’ve got too much to do.
September seems like it’s so far away.
