Apocolyto Bizarro

By Keiti | February 2, 2008

I haven’t had a dream that I remember in a long time. That changed this morning. I woke up at 5:30 because I’d fallen asleep early nursing a nasty sinus headache. I was back to sleep shortly after 6:00.

Anyway, in this dream I was sleeping and when I woke up and stumbled out of my room to the garage I realized that the garage was completely empty (a feat which, if you’ve ever seen our garage, is amazing). My parents were sitting on the couch watching TV. I asked them why the garage was empty. I don’t remember what they told me, but I think it’s because they were getting the house ready for us to move. I sort of stumbled around checking thing out. There were tons of people who, in the dream, we knew from church.

The neighbors behind us, meanwhile, were taking down the privacy fence. I remember thinking it was strange because my dad wasn’t mad. It was daylight when everything started and just after the privacy fence was completely dismantled there was an eclipse and everything went dark, except for the moon which had turned blood red. Everyone was staring up at the sky ooh’ing and ahh’ing and asking each other if they’d seen it. A cross appeared directly in front of the moon with red moon rays streaking out from behind it.

I was back in my room going through stuff because my room was being cleaned out, as well, and I came across a game I’d created while I was in college (note: I never created a game while I was at school, though I talked about it quite a bit), and was excited to discover it though I couldn’t remember what it was for or how it was played. After I’d told my mom about my discovery we got on the computer and I was on a forum where there was a post from B.A.W. I don’t remember what the post said and I never did reply to it.

I went back to wandering around the yard trying to sort out my brain; Dorian got out and was running with three other cats. I grabbed him and put him back in the house so he wouldn’t get lost. I kept looking for something, but what I don’t know.

Shortly thereafter, I came across M.S. and asked her how her trip to Thailand went. She started to tell me and my dad about how she’d been kidnapped and started crying. I hugged her and told her she was safe now.

That’s when I woke up and realized that I’ve really got to stop watching prophecy shows on the History channel.

It sounds like Terry Gilliam wrote your dream.

I’m going to have to take him to task…I’m not fond of these particular dreams.

Send me an email and let me know what’s been going on.

    K~
