American Men, Pay Attention

I’ve decided that American men could take a huge cue from men who hail from other countries. It’s not a recent decision, but it was recently been reinforced by Ghaleb Emachah who was an auditioner on American Idol.

American men in general have no sense of adventure or the joy in life - they take things far too seriously and in doing so miss the ecstasy in the simple things. Ghaleb’s enthusiam was infectious - in it was joy without conditions placed upon it. It was living in the moment at its best.

Now that I think about it, I could probably take that cue, myself.
