Just a Quick Note

…to let everyone know I’ve arrived safely in Wisconsin.
It’s absolutely beautiful here! My hotel is right on Lake Michigan and the front desk staff was kind enough to put me in a room overlooking the lake. I’ll try to snap some pictures soon.
Other than that, I’m off to bed. Tomorrow is my last day of peace and solitude before work starts on Monday.
Rumor has it that I’ll be working 7 days a week / 12 hr days once the outage starts.
Which means updating the blog is probably going to be a bit spotty.
I’ve also been told that there’s no way I’ll be on night shift this time around. Which is kind of icky because I’d much rather work nights. But at least this time around my body clock won’t get all screwed up, even if I will be a bit cranky first thing in the morning.

I’m glad to hear you made it. Now you know why I don’t want to live where there is snow. You are in a great area, though. That’s where I started riding a bicycle (when there wasn’t snow on the ground).
Good luck in your 7 days a week 12 hour shifts. Let the money flow into your Scotland account.

I’m glad I made it, too. I don’t mind living where there is snow - I just don’t like having to drive in it.
