As It Turns Out…

My feeling icky had nothing to do with being sick and everything to do with my being allergic to the laundry detergent / softener the laundromat used when they washed my clothes weekend before last. It actually hit its high (or low, depending on how you look at it) point today when I woke up this morning and the back of my head (right below my occipital bone) felt like it was on fire and was tender to the touch.
I wracked my brain for what I’d done differently since I’d been up here and the only thing that’s different is what my clothes were washed in.
To remedy the situation, I bought some perfume and dye free detergent / softener and took the vast majority of my clothes (even those that hadn’t been worn yet) back to the laundromat to be washed.
Yes, I know this is exciting news. Please try to contain yourselves…
