A Whole Lot of Awesomeness
By Keiti | May 2, 2008
I’ve spent the whole week exhausted (par for the course for the past 6 weeks) and cranky (kinda sorta) and fed up with the absolute horror human beings will inflict on others - especially horrific are the instances when the atrocities committed are against people who are entrusted in one’s care by blood ties. It doesn’t negate the horror of any other action of its ilk, but I firmly believe there is a special karmic retribution for those who abuse the ones they’re supposed to love and care for. It makes me angry and sad and disheartened that there exist people who think nothing of their blatant disregard for human lives aside from their own.
Every once in a while, though, I’ll discover something that doesn’t negate the atrocities, but does restore my sense of wonderment of all that is good.
Check out the regrown finger and marvel at how awesome the human body is (not to mention science which constantly astounds me…mostly because it’s generally all greek to me).

I just looked at the finger-pixie-dust article. I’d go for it but I’m half Jewish so the dried pigs bladder might cause my dead relatives to roll over their graves…
I hope all is well in America’s Dairyland.

Wow! Thats incredible. It sounds like something straight out of a sci fi novel. This is cool.

I think the most amazing part about this story is that “western medicine” actualy used the technology for something usefull, like regrowing a finger tip instead of trying to get rid of wrinkles in SoCal.
