Just Keepin’ On Keepin’ On

So far this week has been a frantic race to get all of my paperwork done and submitted. I have one more loan application to finish - Just need to write a personal statement to go with that. I’ll probably get that done later tonight or tomorrow.
Then there’s the visa paperwork - I’ve got the rest of the week & the weekend to get this together - I can’t mail it in until next week due to waiting on more loan funds to come through. I’m probably a bit behind on getting that in, but until I can prove I can pay for this without having to resort to living on the dole in the UK, there’s no way they’d approve it. That should be done and mailed off by mid-next week.
And there’s one more grant form to fill out. This one isn’t due until July 1st (I think) so I have a bit of time left on that. It’s been low on the priority list because of the due date. Hopefully I’ll get that wrapped up shortly after I submit my visa paperwork.
In actual traveling news, I just found out that the screenwriters for The Bank Job (which I haven’t seen) will be giving a lecture on the QM2 during my 6-day voyage in September, so I’m kind of excited about that.
I’ll feel so much better once everything is taken care of, sent in, and approved. Especially my visa; without that I won’t be going anywhere.
I won’t be able to relax and really enjoy the process of getting ready to leave until I know that’s a done deal.
