Cemetery Dancin’
By The Misfit | February 12, 2009
A couple of weeks ago, K.W. and I took a hike through the woods behind the campus. I had it on good authority that there was a cemetery back that way and I simply had to go check it out. The misfit is nothing if not morbid. It turns out my souce meant the new cemetery, but there’s an old cemetery that was far more interesting. It was gated off due to the crumbling headstones and building, but I simply peered through the gate and took as many pictures as I could. I really wish I could have gotten in there and roamed around – it was awesome. The skull and crossbones on the last picture just kills me!

I thought it was pretty awesome, too. The last pic is actually my favorite of all of the pics I was able to snap – the wrought-iron gate was nearly as tall as me (which is to say, not very, he he he) and it was either hold the camera uncomfortable over the top of the gate or reach through the bars and have no control over camera placement. I really wish that one had come out a bit better than it did. But I still wuv it.
