I am a huge mass of lumbering contradictions.  I struggle to understand the human condition, yet still make some of the same mistakes I always have.  I am alternately impulsive and cautious.  I want to be an adult, yet act childlike more often than not.  I kinda sorta want to be a girly-girl, yet my tom-boyishness rules most of the time.

I have a BA in English Lit / Creative Writing from Agnes Scott College and an MLitt in The Gothic Imagination from University of Stirling, Scotland.  They haven’t helped me land the perfect job – I don’t have it in me to play the corporate lackey – but they have given me a better sense of self. I work mostly to support my writing habit and to pay those pesky bills.

I currently live in South Florida, but since I suffer horribly from “itchy-feet” syndrome, known only to military brats, and those who have moved consistently throughout their lives I’m sure I’ll be off to somewhere else sooner or later.  The only question is where?  Wanderlust is not a compulsion – it’s a way of life.
